Laura Alexander founded Heart Leadership Training Africa in Kigali after more than a decade and a half working in leadership and management development — first with the United States Air Force, then running her own training practice for ten years in the US.

United States Air Force
Served as a Financial Management Analyst and Leadership Liaison — managing federal budget allocation and compliance, supervising personnel training, and coordinating leadership and professional development programs.
A Decade Running Her Own Training Practice
Founded and led a leadership and communication training practice in the United States, delivering professional and management development programs across healthcare, nonprofit, education, and retail organisations — including behavioural assessments, executive coaching, and Train-the-Trainer certification work.
Heart Leadership Training Africa — Kigali, Rwanda
Relocated to Kigali to build a leadership development consultancy for Rwanda and the East African Community — bringing that experience to organisations investing in their people as the region's economy grows.
